Below is everything you need to know about closing your account—how to request deletion, which data disappears right away, what must be kept for compliance, and your rights throughout the process.

1 | Requesting deletion

To close your account, please e-mail us so we can verify your identity and start the process.

1. Send an e-mail to privacy@youngestgexchange.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.”
2. Include the phone number or e-mail address registered on the account.
3. Our team will confirm your identity through a secure channel before processing the request.

We aim to process valid requests within 30 days. Deletion is irreversible—withdraw any remaining funds and resolve open issues first.

2 | Data deleted promptly

• Profile information (name, contact details, profile photo)
• In-app preferences and saved payees
• Active device tokens and login sessions
• Marketing and communication preferences

These records are removed from live systems immediately and from encrypted backups on our standard rolling-deletion schedule.

3 | Data we must retain

Because of industry compliance requirements for payment services, a limited set of information must remain available for audit, security, and record-keeping:

• Basic customer-identification records (e.g., ID-verification documents)
• Transaction and ledger records (amounts, routes, timestamps, fees)
• Security and fraud-prevention logs

Only the minimum necessary information is kept, stored in encrypted archives, and used solely for compliance and risk-management purposes. It is retained for the period required by applicable regulations and then securely erased or irreversibly anonymised.

4 | Your rights after account closure

• Request a copy of retained data
• Ask for corrections to inaccurate information
• Object to any use of your data that is not legally mandatory
