We do not sell personal information. We do not use your identity documents to train public advertising models.
Automated tools compare your selfie with your document, screen names, score transaction risk, and decide whether a transfer is released, held, or refused. A YOUNGESTG reviewer examines holds, enhanced-due-diligence cases, and account closures. You may ask for a review of a decision that significantly affects you by writing to compliance@youngestgexchange.com. We may not be able to explain a decision where doing so would prejudice a financial-crime investigation.
We share personal information only as needed, with:
licensed payout partners, where a fiat payout is completed through them, and only the data required to pay the beneficiary;
banks and payment institutions that collect or deliver fiat;
screening and blockchain-analytics providers that support our compliance checks;
cloud, hosting, email, and customer-support vendors bound by contract;
professional advisers, auditors, and insurers;
another YOUNGESTG user, where you send them value or a payment reference;
a competent authority, court, or financial intelligence unit where the law requires or permits it;
a buyer of our business, under confidentiality, if ownership changes.
We do not name those parties on this page. Each receives only what it needs for the stated purpose, and only under a duty of confidentiality or a legal obligation.
International transfers occur because our users and service arrangements are in more than one country, including Cameroon, Nigeria, and Canada. Where the law requires a transfer tool, we use contractual clauses or another lawful mechanism. Processing in another country may be subject to that country’s official-access laws.
We keep customer-due-diligence and transaction records for at least five (5) years after the transaction or the end of the relationship, and for up to ten (10) years where Cameroonian, CEMAC, or another applicable law requires it. Security logs are kept for a shorter period unless needed for an investigation. Marketing contacts are removed when you opt out, unless we must keep a suppression record.
If you ask us to delete an account, we close it and delete or anonymise what we can. We retain the compliance file for the legal period. We may also retain information while a dispute, hold, or investigation is open.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
access the personal information we hold about you;
correct inaccurate information;
delete information, subject to our legal retention duties;
restrict or object to certain processing;
receive a portable copy of information you provided, where the law gives that right;
withdraw consent, where consent is the ground, without affecting earlier processing;
complain to a data-protection authority.
Cameroonian users may also rely on rights under applicable national data-protection rules. Nigerian users may contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Canadian users may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where federal law applies.
We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, usually within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act. We may refuse a request that would prejudice a legal duty, another person’s rights, or the prevention of crime.
We use administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of identity and financial data. These include access control, encryption in transit, segregation of production data, and vendor review. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You must keep your PIN, password, and device secure, and tell us immediately at support@youngestgexchange.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
The Platform is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly open an account for a child. Our identity verification is designed to block an underage applicant. If you believe a child has opened an account, contact compliance@youngestgexchange.com and we will close it, subject to any legal duty to retain records.
The Platform may link to a bank, a mobile-money service, or a social network. Their privacy notices govern those sites. We are not responsible for their practices.
youngestgexchange.com uses strictly necessary cookies to run the site and remember security settings. We use analytics cookies only where you accept them, or where the law allows without consent. The YOUNGESTG app uses equivalent device identifiers for security and diagnostics. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may stop the site from working.
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If a change is material, we will also notify you in the YOUNGESTG app or by email before it takes effect, where the law requires notice.
